{{tumel}} recently asked about the significance, if any, of the current eclipse activity.    I grew up knowing it as the “once in a blue moon” occurance of two full moons in one month.  The second full moon, known as the blue moon, being thought of as “lucky”.  Make a wish…

The significance of the event is to convey “new beginnings”.

This particular time,  Humanity is beginning an ‘ascent’ of sorts on an evolutionary spiral.  It has to do with awareness and consciousness.  Ever so often awareness expands.  It is all part of a natural order of experience.

I can compare it to when we were little.  First we become aware we have fingers.  Next  we become aware that we can move them.  Then we usually put them in our mouths, further expanding our awareness to include taste of fingers.  Eventually we become aware of our feet and toes.

From the moment we are born, life is an adventure in further expanding our awareness.  We learn how to manipulate and animate our parts.  We become aware that we can initiate action; we can move on our own.    After we learn how to hold our head up, we look up and ….become aware of how much more there is to discover.  This leads to our initiating action to stand, walk, climb, etc.

One thing we can count on, is once we discover there is more to Life, we go after it.  And that is what we are doing now.

I guide to take a deep look at our standards and our ideals.  For if our ideals and standards are limited, so will we be limited as individuals and, from now on, so will our lives be limited likewise.

A very beloved friend of mine happened to witness my cat enjoying himself within recent history.  My cat had caught a shrew and was busy munching away.   He was being True to his nature; the shrew to its.  Death/birth, is all part of a natural process.  Life in action.    Beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all.

She expressed she had to turn her back.  I smiled and laughed, saying something about being “squeamish”.    Her reply was that there was nothing wrong with being a girl.

This is the sort of thing I mean about questioning our standards.

What does being a “girl” have to do with being emotionally limited when it comes to embracing life?  Seems to me “boys” display the same inner nature with the same consistency.   Our limits are something we all share in common, because it is the way our cultures have raised us to be.  Nothing sexist about it.

The dysfunctional “boy” counterpart to the dysfunctional “girl”, plays the role of taking physical dominion by force, in order to protect dysfunctional “girl” from everything that makes her “uncomfortable”.

These were our “old” patterns of behavior and they are now obsolete.  The more we try to play into these roles,  the more miserable we’re going to get.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve been gnashing my teeth in frustration as quite a few of us rushed off to some group that supports dis-associative disorders.   Most of these groups have been fluffy bunny groups, promoting lala lands of heaven on earth, devoid of everything that makes us feel uncomfortable.  Basically, a “heaven” on earth that resembles something along the lines of a sanitarium with padded walls.  A “gated” community, one that has “boundaries”, that keep everything “negative” out.

It’s what we do.  Being unable to cope with life, we imagine living in a “heaven”,  where we don’t have to face anything that makes us feel uncomfortable.

Behind our feelings of discomfort are emotional “wounds” we have not addressed.  We haven’t loved ourselves enough to seek healing.  All we’ve been seeking for the most part, has been to escape, to dis-associate our selves from our experiences of emotional pain and suffering.

We have sought to wipe out the parts of our realities we didn’t know how to cope with and, in so doing, detach and distance ourselves from the ‘parts’ of ourselves that are suffering, mentally and/or emotionally. All these ‘parts’ of our lives that we thought we had successfully distanced ourselves from, are now all rushing back into our lives, demanding attention.   Humanity is being slammed in ways that are bringing up these old wounds.    It’s definitely not a time to be squeamish about addressing bleeding hearts.

My energy is focused on helping as many of us as are open, to start genuinely understanding the “talk”, walking it and, healing wounds along the way.

Blood makes me squemish, not my own, but others, humans and animals alike, open wounds as well, sometimes I think in another life I might have been responsible for deaths and really wish in this one not to be.

  2. Sue Ann EdwardsNo Gravatar

smiling…I think the sight of blood makes us all squeamish, yet we do not run away when we see it. We do not turn our backs but usually rush to the bleeding someone’s aid. We over-ride our initial, instinctual reactions of being repulsed because we know someone is hurting.

Compassion overPOWERS our fears and perception of ‘negative’. It is what makes a hero, a hero.

In the story of the golden apples, Hercules goes to the aid of Prometheus, because he cannot turn away from his cries of distress. Then again, he helps Atlas. In both cases, his initial impulse was to turn his back and go on with his own business.

On our mental and emotional levels, Humanity looks like a war zone. We’re throwing up resistance all over the place and all this is doing is making things harder on us.

Before ~this~ time of “new beginnings”, there was the energetic wave of endings. All of us went through a phase of mourning. Experiences of despair, depression and sorrow were quite common.

Maybe…in another lifetime you were a nurse, serving on a battlefield or like Mother Teresa, going into areas of distress?

I am reminded of a scene from the movie “Gone With the Wind”. Southern soldiers lying wounded all over the place in Atlanta, no morphine and running out of bandages.

And that’s when Scarlet started growing up.

There is a Scarlet inside each of us. There is also a Ms. Melanie.

It’s Melanie that is needed now and Scarlet that is causing all our woe. We are saying ‘goodbye’ to a way of life and the sooner we cease our attempts to regain it, the sooner we’ll see our “new beginnings” taking place.

I’m a mom and so are you. Being repulsed didn’t stop us from changing dirty diapers, even in times of tummy aches and flu’s. And I bet the possibility of catching something doesn’t stop you from taking care of your children when they are sick.

How many times have you cleaned a toilet? How about one that’s backed up and overflowing? How many times have you cleaned up someone else’s puke, having to overcome an urge to puke yourself at just the sight and the smell?

If we can do it physically, we can do it mentally and emotionally. We have to start dealing with our emotional “shit”, instead of trying to escape it.

“Difficulty” only exists inside our own heads.

    (rolling my eyes)

For whatever reason…it comes to me to recommend the book “Watership Down” by Richard Adams. It’s a story about a group of rabbits, from the rabbits’ point of view.

It talks of getting caught in headlights and going “tharn”. And it talks about what Courage it takes to come out of our holes.

I can also be obnoxious and say it is a story of what comes from splitting hares.

  4. tumelNo Gravatar

would splitting hares mean that we might see the rabbits of this story seperate from us? when they really they are the same?

  5. tumelNo Gravatar

    Hi again Sueann:)

I was re-reading this post this morning and felt to explain/expand a touch, overcoming a fear of spamming your blog:).

This question I ask comes from things I have been reading of re-incarnation, that popped up in my mind when reading this post, a slower reaction I think to your mentioning re-incarnation in another.

What I have been recently coming across about re-incarnation are two different views about essences, human and the animal kingdom, one view is that humans are of different essences, that humans will not re-incarnate as animals, nor will animals re-incarnate as humans, the other view is the opposite of this.

In the question above I think to ask your thoughts on this:)

  6. Sue Ann EdwardsNo Gravatar

    Heavens {{{tumel}}}!!!

Never let it enter your mind again about “spamming” my blog. Nothing could be further from the Truth. I enjoy your questions and comments. The more, the merrier!

Regarding the rabbits…yes, you are right on target. In the story, a group of rabbits breaks off from the warren. They “rebel” and go off on their own. And end up becoming the future of the warren.

As for reincarnation…much of what has been written and discussed is coming from a perspective of polarity and, is associated with ideas of judgment and karma. Which makes it False, of course.

The subject becomes clearer if we look at it as “evolution of consciousness”.

And there is NO such thing as de-evolution, as in the case of coming back as a cow in India. This is nonsense. Consciousness evolves through various states of being. Always moving towards expansion.

Consider 1st, the consciousness of a rock. I know it sounds silly, however, ponder that minerals DO exhibit a response to outer stimuli. When exposed to light/heat, there is movement on the atomic level in response. This level of consciousness is form consciousness. The purpose is to hold “form pattern”.

Next come plants. With plants, there is form pattern AND a circulatory system. Again, plants express a response to outer stimuli….they turn towards the light.

After plants come animals. With this level of consciousness comes the ability of motion.

None of these levels of consciousness include being “self” aware. They are “am”, not “I am”. They are uh….ummmm….”ensouled” but not individually.

For instance, a dog or a cat that’s been around human beings, has picked up the vibration of consciousness of that human being. They are no longer cat think or dog think. They are cat think & human think, dog think & human think. Lift one cat/dog and we lift the entire species at the same time.

After the minerals, the plants and the animals, comes the human evolution. It is at this level, that “self” awareness and “self” consciousness comes in, along with Creator abilities. No longer just “amming” away but “I am”.

The “human” level of awareness is the bridge connecting the ‘upper’ kingdoms to the ‘lower’ kingdoms. There is much ado about disappearing species right now. So I’ll be the first to say that as “Man” is evolving, so is the animal kingdom and there are a lot of species that are evolving also.

Polar bears may be disappearing from their natural environments but they are appearing in places never seen before, far south of their usual hunting grounds….AND they are mating with grizzlies and black bears, giving rise to another specie of bear.

Animal to human? Yes, that is the natural evolution of consciousness. Human to animal? No, it simply doesn’t work that way.

  7. tumelNo Gravatar

    (((hugs))) Sueann, thank you.

  8. Sue Ann EdwardsNo Gravatar

    You are most welcome tumel!

An interesting study is the study of responses. When ever and where ever there is a response to outer stimuli, there is awareness. Where there is awareness, there is consciousness.

If I used an example of white light, within the light there are bands, which we can see with any prism. Now apply that example to consciousness; there are bands or frequencies. Cat frequency, dog frequency, rat frequency, etc. Evolution is an expanding awareness of these frequencies.

  9. tumelNo Gravatar

Our consciousness is pure energy then? and the frequencies is this energy scattered? and to become not so scattered, :) to become whole again we somehow must gather up all of these frequencies to ourselves and we do so in becoming aware of them more and more?

  10. tumelNo Gravatar

and a ps:) all my life I have had dogs in it and cats, and I would learn from them, different things at different times, the most recent was of an awareness of un-conditional love that came with the dog shadow so I am glad of the word frequent in frequency:)

  11. SurfaceEarthNo Gravatar

Awww, Sue, come on, you know I’ve been holding on for Heavan on Earth!

  12. Sue Ann EdwardsNo Gravatar

You’re on the right track {{tumel}}! There are two phrases that come to mind:

“A pillar of light” and “a coat of many colors”.

When we become aware of our “coat of many colors”, we then become able to work with those colors to balance and align them….which results in becoming a “pillar of light”.

You’ve come so far in your realization it is simply amazing! Now contemplate that consciousness is beyond pure energy. Energy itself, is created BY consciousness. It is an idea, a concept, of expression.

Formlessness has to be put into SOME kind of form in order to be expressed and, once it is, it isn’t formless any more. “All That Is” includes all that Will Be, too.

Our pets are aspects of ourselves. If we observe our dogs, then we will see aspects of our Personalities. By observing our cats, we see aspects of our emotions.

Rottweilers and such, express a very definite Fear oriented Personality, as do shaky little nervous dogs. Cats that remain distanced express being emotionally detached and cats that are easily spooked, express being emotionally insecure.

There’s a LOT about ourselves that is communicated by our pets.

  13. Sue Ann EdwardsNo Gravatar

    Well {{SE}}…

If I desire to create heaven on earth, then I must see the earth through heaven’s eyes.

My version of Heaven is manifesting on earth. Finally.

And all I had to do was change my eyes. The landscape changes, as our perception of it changes.

The very idea of a “gated heaven” is in negation of Heaven. That’s what I mean by “coming into alignment”.

The ‘gated heaven’ idea is/was a creation of our fears and judgments. We judge ~this~ or ~that~ form of self expression as “negative” and due to that judgment, that form will always make us feel uncomfortable.

UNTIL the day comes when we cease to judge it and begin to try to understand it. There is NO form of self expression that ALL of us don’t share in common.

It’s like I’ve been endeavoring to convey. It’s no big deal or feat of any kind, to accept what is acceptable or be comfortable around what is comforting. Recognition and realization don’t come from remaining inside our comfort zones. All remaining inside our comfort zones does, is create emotional primadonnas.

There has been a LOT of energy utilized in trying to control the world, so those of us with no emotional skills feel comfortable in it. It’s called “enabling dependencies” and has been confused with “love”.

This confusion fed our denials and illusions. It has also formed the basis of our procrastination when it came to genuine character development. The results of which, we are beginning to live with now.

Forget “smiles & sunshine”. Learn to smile when the sun isn’t shining, too.

I haven’t exactly been “whistling dixie” over the last 2 decades. I’ve been endeavoring to stop the ~shit~ before it began “rolling downhill”, through the dimensions. We had ample opportunities to deal with our issues mentally and emotionally, which would have resulted in not having to face them physically.

But we didn’t choose to do it that way.

It’s a really, really, really, good time to read and contemplate the story of Job right now. It would help us in coping and releasing our emotional attachments. And I do mean those emotional attachments we have that are based on conditions being satisfied, in order for us to experience a state of emotional well being. Every and any attempts to control will be met with overwhelming opposition and defeat at this time. “Virtue” means strength, inner strength, emotional strength. It is “Beauty’s” Virtue that tames the “Beast”.

The purpose of “Beauty” is to embrace “Beast”. So long as “Beauty” is disdainful and rejecting of “Beast’s” beastly ways, “Beauty” is completely useless. “Beast’s” beastly ways will continue to manifest until such time as “Beauty” learns to embrace them in Understanding and Acceptance.

There is a “Beauty” and a “Beast” within each and every single one of us. What we’ve been trying to do is claim the “Beauty” and deny the “Beast”. And all we end up with is a totally inadequate excuse for “Beauty”, since “Beast” is no where to be seen.

If we desire to live “heaven on earth” it is up to each of us, individually, to lift ourselves out of our own personal hells.

One of my favorite sayings is:

When we find ourselves in the middle of hell, keep going. It’s equal distance out of there no matter which way we go.

  14. tumelNo Gravatar

    Hi SueAnn

Thank you :) . When I say this outloud, “Energy is created by consciousness” I wonder what impact our sub-conscious has too, and when I wonder of our sub-conscious, I think of re-incarnation and wonder is our sub-conscious limited to this life-time or does it go back further.

And I wonder as well, do our pets pick up our energy? or do we pick our pets for their energy.

  15. tumelNo Gravatar

and another wonder, I have been playing around with wordpress this morning and when I loaded something I saw a flicker of words, that I did not see before when I had looked at it, but it reminded me of the energy I tried to describe without knowing I had seen it, or was not conscious of seeing it at the time. So this to me would have been in my sub-conscious and a part then of what I was trying to describe.

It just made me feel that there are so very very many things in our sub-conscious that we are not aware of, and why I wonder how far back it goes:)

  16. Sue Ann EdwardsNo Gravatar

    SMILING REAL BIG

When we ‘die’, our subconscious becomes our conscious. So if we desire to become aware of our Eternal and Infinite nature, all we need do is start delving into our subconscious. It’s ALL there.

The doorway to superconscious is through our subconscious.

A while back we discussed numbers, like the “two who are one” and the “two who are one” fusing with another, making ‘three’.

First, we merge our Personality & Soul, which is the same as “conscious & subconscious”. Then the merged unit merges with pure Spirit, which is the same as “superconscious”.

Tada! The “Holy Trinity”….the “three who are One”. It is the goal of “atonement” or at-one-ment.

I hope you’re feeling excited and a sense of celebration as you’re awareness is expanding! Trying to describe these experiences isn’t easy is it?

It’s like I’ve been trying to share, what we usually allow ourselves to ’see’, is only the tip of a huge iceberg. And like the Titanic, it’s what is below the surface that sinks our ships.

  17. Sue Ann EdwardsNo Gravatar

The Law of Attraction attracts all our pets to us. They are aspects of ourselves come to share our lives with us.

Dogs are helping us release a lot of our old patterns and cats are helping us expand into new ones.

Every animal we see is acting as a messenger. The message is to remind us of certain qualities. For instance, if I see a deer, then the deer has delivered the message of ‘gentle’. If I see a rabbit, the rabbit has delivered the message of how creativity thrives even in a world of predators.

“What do animals tell us about ourselves?” is the real question. For within human dna, is the dna of every animal.

  18. tumelNo Gravatar

the feeling I have is what I imagine flying would be :)

and I see then too, if I saw a deer with its legs sticking up in the middle of a road, it takes away from the gentlessness I see when I see them in a forest, so it brings to me some sort of awareness maybe of myself of the fear of non-peaceful dieness? Almost like what was the last thought maybe of this deer. Was it of peace?

  19. tumelNo Gravatar

and a little ps. that I thought of this morning:).

Shadow also made me more aware of the immune system:)

  20. Sue Ann EdwardsNo Gravatar

Whenever you see that dead deer lying in the road, consider that ‘gentleness’ CANNOT “die”.

    You’ve got it!

It’s all about Awareness and what serves us in becoming and being more aware.

  21. SurfaceEarthNo Gravatar

You may not be surprised to know I need to re-read your comment and digest, and perhaps, check the “links” to the story of Job.

    Keep it coming!

  22. Sue Ann EdwardsNo Gravatar

    {{{{hugs}}}} SE!

You have no idea how many times I have to re-read what I write in order to understand what’s coming through ~this~ time!

In the story of Job, his neighbors kept asking him ‘What did you do wrong? God is sure pissed off at you!”

And Job kept answering, “I’m sowing, not reaping.”

By the end of the story, Job’s faith has been proved beyond a shadow of doubt. He has 1000’s of camels, sheep, abundance overflowing. (Must have had a property the size of the King Ranch)

If we read all Job was given, it becomes obvious he was a man of industry, creating ~jobs~ and livelihoods that supported his entire tribe.

And all he did was ’see’ things differently, while all the ~stuff~ was coming down on his head. He was sowing in his RESPONSES, rather then reaping EFFECTS. These RESPONSES went into his “cosmic bank account” and his Blessings at the end of the story, were his ‘timed deposits’ coming due.

  23. SurfaceEarthNo Gravatar

    See things differently?

Oh, I’ve been doing it for some time, but what I very recently realized is, it is one thing to see things differently, it is another to immerse oneself in seeing things differently.

It happened when I was looking at my youngest, we were being silly, staying up very late on a Summer night, and I cocked my head, looking at his face and I was immersed in the sheer beauty and wonder of his innocence and supreme knowledge (he is of the age where the pure knowledge is not yet chipped away at by society). I realized in that moment, i could pull myself back, start cleaning up and ushering us into the nighttime routine, albeit, quite late; or i could sit drenched in this very real love and very real pure moment. Not hard to guess what I choose. In that moment i learned the difference between seeing differently and living differently.

  24. Sue Ann EdwardsNo Gravatar

    SMILING REAL BIG!!!!! {{{{SE}}}}

When we look at life differently, then how we respond to life becomes different, too.

Would you care to deny that in those precious moments you experienced heaven on earth?

As Awareness and Understanding expand, so do we adjust our actions accordingly. Like….

when we’re little and everything is bought by someone else, we aren’t very selective in our wants and desires; we simply want and desire everything that tickles our fancy. However, when we start having to pay for everything ourselves, we usually start giving our desires and purchases some thought.

    Congratulations and BRAVO!!!!!

You’re shifting in conscious awareness AND recognizing it!

I’ve been enjoying the same intimate and delightful moments with my daughter this summer. Sometimes we’d look up and notice the glow of dawn on the horizon, so you can surmise how important I thought “bedtime” on schedule was. School will be starting in a couple of weeks and there will be plenty of structure and routine then.

How many times has it been written or said that it’s not the destination but the journey?

It’s stopping to appreciate the beauty along the way. The beauty of purity; the beauty of life free of guilt and doubt; the smell of a rose; the bright yellow of a dandelion peeking its head out of a crack in the sidewalk.

    Moments…everlasting moments.

The stuff Eternity and Infinity are made of.

  25. SurfaceEarthNo Gravatar

Yes Sue, there is no doubt, Heaven on Earth.

You are right, there will be time for routines, and I’ll do what is necessary, but on another plane, you and I know that same should not be necessary!

  26. Sue Ann EdwardsNo Gravatar

You’ve brought up an excellent point SE!

There is a big difference between “rhythm” and “routine”. One is a flow; one is forced. One is a dance; one is a march.

It is the Understanding and Wisdom of one, that makes the other unnecessary.

  27. SurfaceEarthNo Gravatar

My vote is in for the “dance”.
