10-fold life span extension reported in simple organism

Biologists have created baker’s yeast capable of living to 800 in yeast years without apparent side effects.”

Anyone ask the yeast for its perspective?

I get an image of Madeline Khan singing “I’m So Tired” from Blazing Saddles.

I guess we’ve just proved the saying that “Love is like yeast, a little can go a long way.”

I wonder about genetically modified seeds, and now I wonder of modified yeast:) do you think biologists do this because of this article?

I spoke to a little piece of yeast the other day though, and he said his wish was to remain un-modified. I think he was going into hiding.

I checked out the article {{{tumel}}}. Thank You!

I would guide the scientists to start recognizing the “whys” behind their pursuits. Just to prove we CAN does not mean it’s wise or smart.

I’d call the scientist morons. But that’s just me. I have an expanded awareness that they haven’t acessed. They’re “flying blind” and I’m *not*. (Grinning like a cheshire cat).

It is wiser to correct our eating habits towards nutrituous and natural foods, putting health and well being before convenience and self indulgence, then it is to pervert nature, contaminating Immaculate Concepts, in order to counteract the negative effects of the food processing industry and our unhealthy diets and lifestyles.

Food processing strips our food energetically.

When our researchers and scientists change their perspectives, from that of controlling asshole, to seeking to understand, then they will begin to get a glimmer of understanding that being Divine, has nothing to do with being immortal.

I’d rather be Divine then ’superhuman’.

The role of ‘hero’ serves the Vanity of our false or lesser selves. And nothing ‘good’ or ‘beneficial’ can ever come from serving our Vanity, except the understanding of why not to do it.

I certainly DO understand why that yeast cell went into hiding. Just because “matter” serves Man, doesn’t mean “matter” is his servant.

Man hasn’t caught on to that Insight yet.

There’s a lot of resistance here in the UK to genetically modified food – we had years of being assured that we didn’t have to worry about ‘mad cow disease’ to make us skeptical – but the government seem determined to get it approved in spite of public opinion. Tony Blair – George W’s big buddy – is a big devotee, and we all know about *his* judgment!

    Bush’s *judgment* is moo-t.

A site I read, that I find much information from.

Recently they gave a link to a book which I ordered that I think would be interesting to read.

Thank You {{Tumel}} !!! Our TV’s aren’t flooded with products such as this…media ‘here’ don’t want us to know.

There will be information coming out within the next few years that will enable us to produce much more nutrition, out of every acre. It will come from understanding the Natural rhythms of Life.

In the mean time this reminds me of what I consider an unEthical practice. The practice is where an employer provides an addict with whatever substance they are addicted to every morning, so the employees work like rats on a treadmill for hours and hours. It’s one way business’, squeeze production out of people.

The substance could be meth, or cocaine, or coffee or energy drinks. The effect is still the same. It’s draining of Life energy.

Same thing that’s happening with designer plants. I do understand though, scientists’ sincere desire. It would simply help if we were AWARE.

So what if I can grow a tomato that tastes like fish? Once I put it in my mouth, my body is going to be wondering how to digest something like that, what biochemicals to use, those for a tomato or those for a fish? And in how many ways am I going to stress my system, by throwing it off balance? And speaking of balance, what’s it going to feel like being ‘infected’ with one of these ’super yeasts’?

Since we are so ignorant, what I suggest is that we Bless each bite and drop we put into our mouths. This will *charge* each bite or drop with Love.

How can I say it? Hmmm….

it doesn’t matter in what form or shape energy comes to us, we have the Creative Power to change it into whatever we choose.

There is an over-riding pattern present in most of our heads, one of Self Denial. If it would be Loving, we don’t ‘do’ it. Because we’re focused on competing to see who lives under the greatest stress and duress, who’s the busiest, who’s got the most to do.

We’re focused on appearances. Because how we appear to others, effects how they think and feel about us.

Once we understand it doesn’t matter what other people think or feel about us. It only matters what we think and how we feel about ourselves, then quite a bit of the world glamor disappears.

I am just finishing up a book “Enlightened Leadership” Getting To The Heart of Change by Ed Oakley and Doug Krug. AWESOME book!! Talk about empowering people! Works for ones life AND in a corporation :o )

    Love all ways,

Ohhhhh…I checked out the title and read a few pages and got tickled. Thank You!!!!

I can only guess at the guidance; I bet it’s good. There really hasn’t been much depth of understanding in our psychology. If we bother to understand ourselves, then we’re more likely to be effectively persuasive.

Here I am, feeling like a relic again. I grew up calling the ’science’ that joined production and people, “industrial engineering”. It didn’t really matter the industry, just that it be respective and considerate of our human conditions and aspirations.

Don’t think they teach it anymore, I guess….

    Blessings…
