thank you for this meaning Sue Ann, when I was at work yesterday I was thinking a little more about this word, and thought arg, I probably just heard the end of it, fice, and why I heard suffice, but you were able to see this and extend it and so now it feels not like an end, but a beginning.:)

What WONDERFUL and SPOT ON Insight!

"Suffice"...'sufficient', 'enough', 'meeting requirements'...

*perfect*

Because that's what happens over the upliftment process. Self Doubt is replaced with Self Assured. It has nothing to do with Controlling and everything to do with response ability.

If I were a harp, what tones are played on my strings, with every passing breeze or tweak? What are my responses?

What makes me *different* now then what I used to be, is all in my responses. Instead of resonating in accord with what is outside of me, I resonate another tone.

It's why I'm *mean* when it comes to not claiming ownership over anyone else's emotions. Because I am powerless to do anything with them or about them.

I am powerless when it comes to uplifting anyone else. That Power comes from within. It is the Spirit, The Presence within the Heart of each and every single one of us, that supplies that Power.

With it, comes both power over our own reality and Self realization.

Mastery is mastery of self. Not master over or of anyone or anything else. It's only when we're in total denial of our genuine Power, that we play silly games of conflicting to overpower.

The game of 'overpowering' is in alignment with behaving like critters of the forest. It is part of our animal/biological nature. It takes our higher nature (Spirit) to DISCIPLINE our beast. Discipline is not punishment nor rejection. It is the willpower necessary to tame, to bring under our Sovereignty.

It takes Beauty to Love the Beast, not another Beast to overpower it. All this does is lead to more and more beastly behavior. Whether it's stags rutting or squirrels hording nuts for the winter, it's all beastly behavior.

Since I know I have no power over another, you won't find me claiming any. All I have the Power to do is Inspire, to cheer and encourage us onward!

Be unafraid of stepping out into left field. I've lived here all my life. It might be unknown but it's not unknowable.

"it’s what I’ve been doing instinctively the last few days!"

Hmm, sure it's "instinct" or maybe....it's your "intuition". Recognize what that means in affirmation of your own desires upon your journey.

You are sensing The Presence. "Intuition" is 'instinctual, to 'It'. That might be why it feels sort of the same way. But the polarization is different. No resistance or opposition to feeling is being created. No (negative). Only embracing. Only (positive).

Separation fused. Wounding healed as soon as it is embraced in Acceptance. It's called Self Acceptance and how we get to the stage of being Whole Human Beings. We're whole-sum. We feel whole because we have embraced the sum total of all of our experiences in Life.

Feelings, stored in memory, are transmuted/changed, from 'bad' and 'density holding us down'. End result is that we are uplifted. Permanently. No more carousel rides eventually, as our balance is centered within us and confidence in our abilities to master any situation. Our Identity starts to blur between who we imagine ourselves to be and that Presence, until finally we KNOW ourselves to be that Presence and always have been that Presence, all along.

That's what the word "sacrifice" means. To uplift. Not to negate, diminish, demean or extinguish.

Sacrifice is the way to self-more-ness, not self-less-ness.

Bl**dy h*ll, Sue Ann - I've only just read this but it's what I've been doing instinctively the last few days! I was talking to you a week or so ago about *embracing* negative feelings to deal with them and I've been trying to think of ways to do this. I'm working on a post on this at the moment - it may take a few weeks! - and in trying to explain it, I've been trying to think of other circumstances in which we embrace what might appear to be unpleasant. The strongest image which came to mind was going for a walk on the sea shore on a blustery day. It's cold, it's wet, but if you soak it up, it's wonderful! And what do you do as you walk along? You breathe it in!

Thanks for helping me get my head around this one! And as you say, as you breathe, the feeling transmutes...
