What’s a ‘child of God’ grow up to be?”

A man rushes down the street yelling “I’m a teepee, I’m a wigwam!”

A woman next to me asks, “Is he crazy?”

“No”, I said, “He’s two tents.”

Sibbia on “I Don’t Believe In…”.

I don’t believe thinking in contradictory patterns is much in the way of ‘thinking’ at all.

“Thinking” is a reasoning process.  It is a process of adding thoughts or ideas together.  Adding them together so no conflicts or contradictions are made in the process.

It used to be called ‘common sense’, since this cognitive faculty of reason, is common to one and all.

Like I recently implied to another…

To oppose conflict is to conflict with it.  There is NO way I can stand in Integrity, claiming I value Peace, while I’m expressing conflict.

Many of us cite our goals, our ends, when it comes to justifying the means we choose to get there.  Like making War to create Peace.

When it is actually the means we use, that create the end result.  Peace can never come from War, just as if I put a chocolate cake in my oven, it’s not going to come out a cherry pie.

“Peacekeepers”….what an illusion that is.

I have to HAVE something before it can be kept.

A lot of our ideas are coming out of our ovens half baked.

“Why won’t you listen to what I think?”

“Because you don’t.”

A Telling Question

Why am I here?

Every morning I ask myself that question.

And every morning I answer:

Because I choose to Be.
