Fire
Persistent Enthusiasm

Our sun is a huge sphere of luminous gas, heated to a gaseous state of 99% hydrogen and helium. It is 109 times the size of the earth. Tremendous weight puts great pressure on the sun’s layers. It’s gaseous state is maintained by the high temperatures generated at its inner core, with its thermonuclear reactions.

There is no distinct surface to the sun. The apparent surface we observe is illusion only. The gases themselves, prevent us from seeing into the sun’s inner core. What we see, is a seething and sloshing sea of gas.

Sunspots are areas where the gases are cooler then those of the surrounding area. Cool apathy.

Prominences are eruptions which shoot upward. Self promotion.

Flares are intensely bright spots on the surface. Anger.

The sun’s inner core is its heart and starting point of all its power. Just as our Spirit/Soul is the heart and starting power of all of us. Energy in the form of gamma rays radiate from the sun’s core toward its surface, 300,000 miles above. Our inner light, also sends forth tremendous energy to every part of our mind for the express purpose of illuminating us as to the real purpose behind physical existence.

Unfortunately, like the sun’s outer surface which has cooled down considerably on its journey from the inner core, so do we allow our physical bodies to cool down our inner light.

If we look at the physical characteristics of the sun, we will see a correspondence to the levels of our mind. The inner core is our Spirit/Soul. The first layer is our superconscious mind. In this layer, a bombardment by gas atoms produces a form of anesthesia which blocks impulses or knowing, coming from Spirit. Thus, our Soul’s light is reduced. The second layer corresponds to our subconscious mind, which is our storehouse of the past. Fears, errors, guilts, grievances and judgments, churn our light even further. By the time our inner light gets to the third and last layer, our conscious mind, we have dimmed our Soul’s light to the point that sometimes only in sleep do we receive impressions of what our inner being is really like. The energy of this last layer, our conscious mind, is reduced further by the impact of people and events upon it.

Like the sun, the light that ignites our passion for life deep inside of us has nothing to do with our surface appearance, our bodies. Some of the most beautiful people in the world appear ugly because of warped souls. Some of the most unattractive people in the world appear to be beautiful because of the beauty of their souls. We always have to remember to look beneath the physical surface, for our Spirit/Soul is our True Light.

Karma of Fire, would be our intentions for prominence and promotion of appearances. Especially, if these promotions are inequitable. If these promotions give rise to experiences of greater then and lesser then. (prominences & sunspots) With anger and petulance expressed when self exaltation is not gained. (flares)

Positive: creativity, vitality, determination, dignity, confidence and generosity

Negative: arrogance, cruelty, conceit, pomposity and aggression.

Is our enthusiam for Life persistent?

Or is it limited by surface appearances?

Karma

Our Conscious Mind is our active mind, that makes choices leading to the initiation of our behavior. Behind our choices of behavior are intents. And the nature of our intents, as well as, the nature of the activities initiated, sets into motion a cycle. The results and consequences of our behavior in this cycle is known as Karma and, so long as the dynamics of the cycle remain in motion, the cycle continues. The repetitive nature of this cycle is called a ‘script’ or a ‘pattern’.

A basic longing of every one of us is to experience Union with our Spirit. But we cannot experience this Union while these cycles are operative. We cannot experience Union with Spirit, so long as all the choices of our Conscious Mind are made, from a perspective of being in denial of it. For our decisions and intent, keeps the cycles of separation and denial maintained.

Once these choices are put into action, our personality is born. From then on, our personality’s purpose becomes to rationalize, justify and explain to our Conscious Mind, why such behavior is acceptable and even desirable. Every time one of our patterns arises related to these karmic cycles, our personality will seek to defend it’s original decision and behavior. We will respond with definite emotional patterns regarding certain issues in our lives. As a result, scripts and patterns reoccur over and over again, from time to time.

Our Conscious Mind has two advisors, our personality and our Spirit. Our personality’s primary purpose is to protect us from physical, mental and emotional pain. And also to seek pleasure. In themselves these things are neither good nor bad. It is when such motivation leads to the goal of individual elevation above others, personal exaltation and aggrandizement, that our personality’s are in violation of natural Law and, whose influence has become detrimental to the journey of our Spirit.

The more influence our personality’s have over our Conscious Mind, the less able and Willing is our Mind to receive or hear, input from our Spirit. There is no ‘Holy Communion’, for communication channels are blocked by the scripts and patterns playing. We are not likely to experience any sense of real union with anyone else in our lives as a result and, chances are, all the relationships in our lives will exhibit a similar theme.

A Shift in Consciousness occurs, when the counsel of Spirit breaks through the defenses of our personality’s and, reaches our Conscious Minds. A script is identified and then consciously changed. As this happens, our personalities dissolve. For our personalities are impermanent, whose reality is based on things that are impermanent.

Our Spirit’s purpose is to guide our Conscious Mind with wise counsel. With what is considered ‘wise’, being completing these cycles and freeing ourselves from these ‘karmic’ patterns.

Every single one of these patterns relates to our Identity. When we become distracted by the illusion of being apart from Spirit, then our sense of reality becomes fractured and fragmented and becomes governed under cyclic law. Giving importance to the parts, gives rise to self importance. Our personality’s seek to distinguish ourselves as separate from others. As a reality builds on the separative illusion, our personality starts defining judgments of ‘better’ and ‘worse’ than others, we endeavor to separate ourselves from.

Prejudices arise over these separate identities. Prejudices gives rise to certain behaviors and intentions which are designed to enhance and elevate our physical self, our personality self, our lesser self, at the expense of denying others. This being in violation of natural law, is subject to cyclic Law. The Law of Retribution, or Karma.

All Karma is a form of Self judgment. Once the judging Mind is set to rest, all Karma is transcended. All cycles completed.

There is the Karma of racial identity.

There is the Karma of religious identity.

There is the Karma of national identity.

There is the Karma of vocational identity.

There is the Karma of social identity.

There is the Karma of working AGAINST something, for to be AGAINST something is to give it Life.

There is the Karma of Co-Dependency in Relationships.

There is the Karma of Parenting.

There is the Karma of our Family, the reputation of our parents in the community.

The key to transcending any and all scripts is Love, UNconditional Love, in place of our Love of these attachments.

“They must find it difficult…
Those who have taken authority as the truth,
rather then truth as the authority.

- Gerald Massey

I highly recommend this movie.  It’s being made freely available for download.  Here’s the link:

Especially the part about the dumbing up of America.

And the part about all the connections to Egyptian Mystery Schools.

And the part about the fiscal lack of responsibility in basing an economy with no sense of economy in it.   Just blatant consumption of resources.

Divine Feminine

The Divine Feminine…how the phrase needles me. Over and over I hear it and, it effects me like the sound of nails scraping across a blackboard. I grit my teeth and……

breathe…

I gather my thoughts

focus inward

center myself…

For well do I know, my response to hearing the phrase, is my responsibility.

No two ways about it. The subject bugs me.

Every time it’s brought up, I feel like I have to sit on my hands, so they don’t start typing anything. Duct tape my mouth shut, too, so nothing comes out that way, either.

My eyes narrow to little slits, my nostrils flare and, energy crackles around me.

I know this mood. It’s stubborn. I also know my resistance is futile. No matter how much distraction I find, the subject will always come up, again. Until I face the issue and transform the charge it has for me surrounding it.

The subject inspires annoyance within me.

I’m not going to pretend and project, I know I’m annoyed at myself.

Because I don’t know how to say, what could use being said.  We keep denying our own Power, as women, choosing instead to compete with men, over who is the better man.  I mean, just look at us.  We dress like we imagine men would dress if they were women.  And look at the runway models, the images of ‘beauty’ we see paraded past our eyes…ever noticed the image closely resembles an adolescent boy?   Take two ice cream scoops of silicone and, presto, a ‘woman’.

There is a saying that I keep hearing:

“A woman has to do twice as much to be recognized as half as good as a man.”

Every time I hear it, I keep wondering what happened to the second line of it:

“Fortunately, it isn’t difficult.”

And maybe that one line, so often forgotten, makes a great deal of difference?

I just left a comment on MSNBC’s message board about the use of torture.  Here is what I shared:

Honor is not determined by our goals but by the means we use to pursue those goals.
