Our Conscious Mind is our active mind, that makes choices leading to the initiation of our behavior. Behind our choices of behavior are intents. And the nature of our intents, as well as, the nature of the activities initiated, sets into motion a cycle. The results and consequences of our behavior in this cycle is known as Karma and, so long as the dynamics of the cycle remain in motion, the cycle continues. The repetitive nature of this cycle is called a ‘script’ or a ‘pattern’.

A basic longing of every one of us is to experience Union with our Spirit. But we cannot experience this Union while these cycles are operative. We cannot experience Union with Spirit, so long as all the choices of our Conscious Mind are made, from a perspective of being in denial of it. For our decisions and intent, keeps the cycles of separation and denial maintained.

Once these choices are put into action, our personality is born. From then on, our personality’s purpose becomes to rationalize, justify and explain to our Conscious Mind, why such behavior is acceptable and even desirable. Every time one of our patterns arises related to these karmic cycles, our personality will seek to defend it’s original decision and behavior. We will respond with definite emotional patterns regarding certain issues in our lives. As a result, scripts and patterns reoccur over and over again, from time to time.

Our Conscious Mind has two advisors, our personality and our Spirit. Our personality’s primary purpose is to protect us from physical, mental and emotional pain. And also to seek pleasure. In themselves these things are neither good nor bad. It is when such motivation leads to the goal of individual elevation above others, personal exaltation and aggrandizement, that our personality’s are in violation of natural Law and, whose influence has become detrimental to the journey of our Spirit.

The more influence our personality’s have over our Conscious Mind, the less able and Willing is our Mind to receive or hear, input from our Spirit. There is no ‘Holy Communion’, for communication channels are blocked by the scripts and patterns playing. We are not likely to experience any sense of real union with anyone else in our lives as a result and, chances are, all the relationships in our lives will exhibit a similar theme.

A Shift in Consciousness occurs, when the counsel of Spirit breaks through the defenses of our personality’s and, reaches our Conscious Minds. A script is identified and then consciously changed. As this happens, our personalities dissolve. For our personalities are impermanent, whose reality is based on things that are impermanent.

Our Spirit’s purpose is to guide our Conscious Mind with wise counsel. With what is considered ‘wise’, being completing these cycles and freeing ourselves from these ‘karmic’ patterns.

Every single one of these patterns relates to our Identity. When we become distracted by the illusion of being apart from Spirit, then our sense of reality becomes fractured and fragmented and becomes governed under cyclic law. Giving importance to the parts, gives rise to self importance. Our personality’s seek to distinguish ourselves as separate from others. As a reality builds on the separative illusion, our personality starts defining judgments of ‘better’ and ‘worse’ than others, we endeavor to separate ourselves from.

Prejudices arise over these separate identities. Prejudices gives rise to certain behaviors and intentions which are designed to enhance and elevate our physical self, our personality self, our lesser self, at the expense of denying others. This being in violation of natural law, is subject to cyclic Law. The Law of Retribution, or Karma.

All Karma is a form of Self judgment. Once the judging Mind is set to rest, all Karma is transcended. All cycles completed.

There is the Karma of racial identity.

There is the Karma of religious identity.

There is the Karma of national identity.

There is the Karma of vocational identity.

There is the Karma of social identity.

There is the Karma of working AGAINST something, for to be AGAINST something is to give it Life.

There is the Karma of Co-Dependency in Relationships.

There is the Karma of Parenting.

There is the Karma of our Family, the reputation of our parents in the community.

The key to transcending any and all scripts is Love, UNconditional Love, in place of our Love of these attachments.
